Privacy Policy
What data NEXO collects, what it is used for, and how you control it.
Data we collect
NEXO collects the data it needs to work: your account data (such as your email address when you register or sign in), your library content (the books you import, your highlights, notes, reading progress, and organization), and app diagnostics (error and crash reports). We collect nothing else.
Account and sync (Supabase)
Accounts and sync run on Supabase, which provides authentication, the database, and file storage. When you sign in, your library, highlights, notes, and progress sync across your devices through Supabase, which processes this data on our behalf to provide the service.
Google sign-in and Google Drive
You can sign in with your Google account, and you can also connect Google Drive to back up and sync your library. In that case, NEXO accesses your Google account only to identify you and, if you connect Drive, to read and write the copy of your library that you choose to sync. NEXO does not read any other content in your Google account.
Crash reports (Sentry)
When the app crashes or produces an error, a report is sent to Sentry with diagnostic data so the problem can be found and fixed. These reports describe the technical error, not the content of your books.
Storage on your device
The books and files you import are stored locally on your device. If you are signed in, they are also stored in your Supabase project storage so they are available on your other devices.
Data retention
We keep your data for as long as we need it to provide the service: while your account is active and to sync your library across devices. If you want your data deleted, write to the support email and we will delete it.
Your rights
You can ask us for access to your data, an exportable copy of it, or its deletion by writing to jcamachomolina503@gmail.com. We will answer your request from that same address.
Children
NEXO is not directed at children. If you are a minor, use the app only under the supervision of a responsible adult.
